Allo Luigi, i know you have said in the past that you do not feel like you need to update the plugins. but i am here to argue that statement, beacause i think it is what is best for all of us.Essencials is, as you know the most dominant plugin we have, it is what allows us to teleport, mute, ban, etc. with it being such an important plugin i think it should be updated because the newest update allows: - tp using nicknames, parts of names (for me you could type /tp chi) - shop signs are easier to write, you do not have to type the product ID for the majority of the items. right now there isnt a massive list because i have forgotten most of them, as i encounter them i'll add them |

This does need to happen eventually, but I think there was a topic on this a few months back and there was a specific reason we weren't having it updated. |

Yes, I already explained in this topic: http://webbcraft.co.uk/forum/read_topic.php?id=1760 why we can't update the Essentials plugin. luigiofthebakery wrote: "I can't update Essentials because of the huge amount of userdata files (>80,000) that newer versions of Essentials will try to convert to UUID form and crash the server. @luigiofthebakery ohh right, thank you for clearing this up with me. its a shame really but dont other servers that are MUCH LARGER update their plugins? :/btw this is my new account.. i couldnt edit my last account to link it with my username that i changed a while ago |
