I don't think demotions should be decided "by poll" regardless of the reason.There are ways to tell how much someone's been playing on the server. Find out what the staff uptime is. Some of the staff don't make their presence felt as much. Doesn't mean they're not there or doing their jobs, but it might mean the other players don't realise they're online. |

Then there are people not online for reasons they may tell Luigi, but it is not the business of anyone else.And then there is "so they are not online so much, but they are not causing HARM." And then there is "This person was demoted for causing harm to the server by giving "friends with (staff) benefits" over-powered items, publicly moped about getting caught, threatened to leave WebbCraft SMB forever, got promoted back, and is then using the staff position to cast aspersions upon other staff who are not actively causing harm to WebbCraft SMB as he did." But hey, if the point of a staff position wasn't to screw over the little people, why bother? |

I have seen WebbCraft SMB staff "serve" the community, but on the basis of BlueRoon's behavior "serving the player community" doesn't appear to be of particular importance, unless it's the slice in his faction or people he thinks he can recruit. You know... friends with (staff) benefits & all. |

Romaq im 100% sure you have no idea what actually happened. First- i NEVER gave anybody a single item. I transfered items from the old world for personal use. And if "serving the player community" isnt important, take staff away for an hour, no staff and its fucking MAYHEM, total chaos. So until you become staff or watch me 24/7 then stop judging me and my actions. |

There's so much to choose from, I don't quite know where to begin! It is the job of players to judge the staff. If we judge the staff well, we bring our friends and family. If we judge the staff poorly, we leave and encourage others to stay away. "Take staff away for an hour" I've been on when there has not been staff on for an hour. People get along or they don't, but unless you are going to insist there is 24/7 staff coverage and you can back up stats to show this is the case (a look at the forums says it is not) then your accusation about "mayhem" is not accurate. "Watch me 24/7" ... I'd say your posts in the forums do a pretty good job, and what I have in my log-files of your public behavior is plenty even without the forums. Or I'm sure others who are online with THEIR log files can do even better. I *will* judge you and your actions because that is what people do. Sometimes we judge poorly, which is why it is a bad plan to publicly slam other staff members and the admin. We are not 100% sure of what happened between you and Tyran, you know, that guy you said you wanted to stab. And yet you demand we judge him! You really are a piece of work, Blueroon. And again, as you indicate you are in the right, perhaps it would not be bad to spread your greatness to public Minecraft forums were more people just like you can be recruited to this server. |

I said "ill-advised"? At best. But power-tripping, in my opinion, is harmful. |
