We should remove /smite for everyone, it seems obvious to me that we should remove it because MANY people abuse it if they get angry or just for fun (i've done that before :P). So, say +1 if you want it removed and -1 if you want to keep it :/+1 i guess :P |

+1 I don't really see how it's useful... It's only used for bypassing pvp and killing animals, but killing animals could also be done by hitting them with a sword. On top of that, everyone in the entire server hears when one person uses /smite, everyone is getting annoyed of it and RIP headphone users.Thanks for reading, Lars signing off |

Are you sure about that larsy? I didn't know that everyone on the server hears when someone does /smite, I thought only people in a certain block radius around the event hear it. |

You didnt know that Luigi?????? You can hear it even if your a couple million blocks away, and you even see the thunder effect in the sky too :/ |

You cant always hear it when you're in the overworld unless it is spammed to shit like 500 times a second |

I think it depends on how high your volume is. After a fair amount of blocks/chunks, the volume isn't getting any lower, so if you spam-use it, the sounds stacks which results in the volume ending up higher... Seems like a logical explaination to me, but believe me, I can hear it when it's used once already :( |

-1, don't think it should be removed because what if theres a huge amount of mobs you want to remove without /kill then smite is very useful. And also if people want to makes pvp/parkour things with charged creepers thats like the only other use i can find for it. |

-1 If they abuse, that means spamming it and killing people, I get yelled at for smiting a mob that wandered in my castle for abusing smite. If they literally are spamming it and abusing it, they can just get it removed. |

^ckvoss is 100% correct here. -1 Let me further add onto his reasoning. Smite is seen as a tool, rather a weapon. If it is used for otherwise ways than a tool, it will be removed. |
