Huge, Gigantic, Important note, before I write this.Anyone who sees this... Please be mature and considerate of other's feelings in the comments. It pains me to see the community in such disarray, even on a discussion forum which just further proves how the community is falling. I don't care if Minecraft is just a game. There are real life people, communicating on this game, and a human's emotions are just as important as their very life. Game or not, people are on here, and if you hurt someone on here, you hurt someone in real life. You could even drive them to end their lives. Game, or, not, this is someone, or multiple people, saying these awful things against them, it's just as bad as stabbing them with knives, torturing them slowly, until they want to end it. Please remember, some people don't have the mindset to "just leave" or "just shut the computer off". Sometimes people just come on to relax and you're robbing them of their peace of mind. This game may be the one thing keeping them feeling safe, the one thing they have to look forward to and be happy on. Would you really want to ruin someone's life like that? Please, Do be kind and considerate in the comments, I beg of you all. If you have a shred of respect for one another left, please just do this one simple request! If there are fights... Well... There's a reason for why I want change, right? So i'm fighting for it. But I will be peaceful, no matter how much shit is thrown in my face. I won't be another Saraku, I doubt anyone has so much animosity towards the server's current state to destroy it. Destroying the server or causing grief will only make things worse. Now, onto the REAL talk. I hope you're still here at this point. --- What happened to the kind Mushroom Co. I, albeit vaguely, remember? What happened to being able to come on without being attacked and flogged for just BEING there? This server was built to be something to come onto and enjoy. Now it's slowly turning into a warzone and nothing more. Does everyone really want that? To have a place they want to enjoy to be something thats full of stress and anguish? This change seems to have come on.. After Saraku's terror was ensued. You may think that just because Saraku's gone, the problem is resolved. Wrong. If anything, Saraku WON. He left a lasting mark of insecurity and pain on the server. People who don't even know much about him are stingy about people involved with him coming back, even. He won, because he's a part of the convoluted mess the server is currently in. He managed to get under everyone's skin. Now now, i'm not saying Saraku's presence was all to blame. To tell the truth... It's all our own faults. It's no individual's fault, it's EVERYONE's fault. Everyone has at least once caused some sort of disarray, including myself. But, some of us see that we made a mistake, and we leave it behind, which is great. But others, others hold onto their mistakes, thinking it's justified, and continue their actions. It isn't okay. But y'see, i'm not angry at those of you who hold onto things. Rather, I hope you can manage to see the light someday. You don't have to hold onto things. All that does is make you feel negative emotions and cause you to lash out at everyone. You may be having one hell of a crappy life right now, I understand, but y'know... It'll be okay. Holding onto things and being negative... It isn't healthy. It hurts you, and it hurts everyone. To those of you who are the center of negative attention, I feel for you, and I hope things get better. We need to stop blaming people. We all play a hand in the path to war, and only we can realize that and instead pave the path to peace. Even if we can't prevent every fight, we can at least bring the server out of this state, if we just tried! We can make the server what it was again, we don't have to fight and argue, we can be happy, if we all just tried. To those of you who read all of this, thank you, very much. |

I disagree with this. Minecraft is just a game, and if people are getting upset over it, it should be very easy for them to just switch of their computer. There are a few kids who seem like real losers in real life, who come on the internet causing trouble, trying to look cool. The worst thing you can do is react, and get upset. You just shut down your computer, and read a book or something. People come on the internet, and talk to other people, if you dont like that person, dont talk to them, simple. Dont give them what they want - A reaction. "These are real life people" Like I said above, real life people who can quite easily get off the internet. If someones insulting you over the forum, dont use the forum. If someones annoying you in the chat, dont look at chat or ignore them. Jesus, its not hard :P |

Beetle, I doubt anyone would want to be forced off something they like because of other people. So yes it would be quite hard to just simply leave. It isnt right to say that; that basically is saying you want to let the troublemaker do whatever they want. The people ruining other people's game isn't exactly dealt with if you cover your ears and wish it away, right?Escaping the situation is not a fix, it's just a temporary situation. And tell me, why should WE be the ones forced off when it's the one causing trouble who should take a breather? |

I agree that the wrong-doer should be punished for what they have done. I was just saying that if people cant learn to deal with the assholes of the internet, they really shouldnt be using the internet.Maybe nobody wants to be forced of something they enjoy because of others. But if it's upsetting them that much, its probably their best option. A great solution to all this trouble would be - "If you cant handle the troublemakers on multiplayer, go play singleplayer". The ruining of the game isnt dealt with if you cover your ears and wish it away, but it doesnt give the troublemaker the reaction they were hoping for. "It's just a temporary situation" - Exactly the reason you should just get off the internet for a while, just wait it out. Like I said before, the ones who cant handle troublemakers should be forced off the internet, and just play single player. They can just play the game without having to worry about anybody else ruining their experience. |

I disagree with Beetle, nobody should ever have to leave anything because of another troublemaker, not school, not a bar, not a shop, not minecraft. The troublemaker should always be removed. |

Words of wisdom Echos, This is one of the best things I have heard/read in a while, out of all the people I know.... Really the only ones like me are here, In-fact I have met more friends just on this server then my life, truth is, people don't really.... care about me at all in my normal life. But here I feel accepted, and that there are people like me that see the problems in this word, and they want to change it. Thank you Echos.... |

Deep within our hearts,we knew saraku won. I mean, i never saw the guy,but all the chaos...This is what he planned on doing/has done? After 2-3(or 4) years his essence still lingers. YOU guys said that saraku is just a fraud and a p****. But i always thought that he was a whole lot more powerful than you guys said. Turns out i was right. Keep in mind that im not saying that the things he did are good. Nope. I just think that he's a manipulating genius. (I wouldn't support him btw. So if you're offended by this post then.....Oh well.) |

Minecraft is just a game, but real ppl play on it. They can technically do whatever they want, and if they do something that you dislike, you shouldn't take seriously since they can technically do whatever they want. |

There has always been annoying people on the server, and there has always been some sort of arguments, the server has grown alot, and more people = more arguments. I used to think of the old days as peaceful, but I looked at some old screenshots, and trust me, they had their fair share of arguments and annoying people too. Right after I joined, me and my faction had this feud with a few donators who used hacks and abused their powers to kill me and my friends, back when I was citizen. We had toxic people like MCMedia, and a staff betrayed the server when I was mod (long before saraku)So Saraku, in my opinion, is not to blame. |

Guiness4 you miss the whole point of the read. This is a game but there are real people behind it is what she is saying. Armz has it right... Why should someone leave when just a handful of people wanna be mean and disrespectful to the rest of the players. Or want to create chaos in the server for the rest of the community. The few troublemakers should always be removed not the other way around. |
