Jesus, It's been awhile guys, and before someone like guiness comes here and tells me to get off the server, listen to what I say, and if you don't care, just dismiss it and do something else, so without further ado, lets jump in:So I was thinking, looking at the server, and forum, and I'm thinking, "Jesus Christ, this is utter chaos, this wasn't how the old webbcraft I started on used to be, when there was 40+ players at a time online, and not everyone was hating on my buddy blueroon, and everything was more or less peaceful, this server needs a reset" and then it hit me, the server(and forum) should just completely Restart. Now I know some of you are thinking "Hell no, that's stupid and idiotic, and I pooped myself", think about it. One- Reset Staff Team Again, I know you probably think this is rash and stupid, but honestly, it's probably needed, and honestly, when I wanted to to my server, to make it more like a democracy, I thought about doing staff elections every 3-4 months, which gives different players opportunities to try out the moderator position, or even get a promotion. Now obviously there are flaws to it, like 'Voting for your friends' or 'Bribing someone to vote for you, but honestly it's a better system than the +1, since there are bribes and friend voting anyways. Two- Plugins I think luigi should use some of the donation money to pay developers to create him several different plugins that people think will attract more and new players. If the server goes down for X amount of time while new plugins are being developed, the server could become much more popular, like for one, we could have a compatible Hunger games plugin, or maybe, with the help of MultiVerse, there could be instead of just a peaceful survival server, for all the aggressive and competitive server, there could be a Survival (faction) server that has raiding, etc. Three- A new world The world always instantly gets griefed , and spawn gets made ugly because the first 100+ blocks aren't claimed for the safe zone. Also there are too many areas of random destruction caused from TnT, Fire-spread, and Wither attacks, which is rare, but relevant. It's not as relevant, but still a problem, because \it gets aggravating having to go hundreds to thousands of blocks out to find untouched land. Now obviously like most things I put on here, this is flawed, so and suggestions or fixes are needed, see you guys later, ciao! |

In theory this sounds like a nice idea. However practically it is a tad more difficult than you may think.Resetting the staff team: If luigi had an issue then he would have just flipped them out. Yeah some have flaws in them, but everyone does. We are all human and that stuff happens sometimes. The way it goes the staff do their jobs which is super since they are doing it on their own time for free. Plugins: I love the idea of getting a developer to design plugins for the server, however this isn't cheap and I doubt luigi even has a lot of money coming from donations. Also trying to find someone with the time for minecraft plugins may be somewhat difficult. A new world: It always gets reset every so often anyway, so thats really just being patient. I do see where you come from and respect all that, but I'm sure luigi may also have stuff he is doing irl so doesn't have that much effort to focus on completely overhauling the server. |

-1. A staff reset isn't needed. The times are covered and our jobs are done. Yes, we make mistakes, but does the bad outweigh the good? No. |

I actually meant to also say that staff should not be wiped. I think we have a great staff team. But the other stuff (MAP RESET) would help. |

+1 As a server veteran, I can say that all of these things are necessary in the changing server market. Though, I think the staff team is pretty good. I wouldn't necessarily suggest resetting the staff team as I would suggest to reevaluate the number of positions available (and increase them) to serve more people.P.S. I'm futuretiger, before you go off and say I'm not a veteran ;) |

lmao ancients ion. I'm changing my vote. The staff dosnt need to be reset and I understand that this post may seem a tad biased especially as a staff member but I'd like to +1 the other two ideas. |

Tiger has a mental problem :3, geez guys, I am finally done with final exams and only have a week left of school, so I hope to be active once more again.On a related note, thanks Jordan, and weeks, maybe even (a) month(s) later, I'm finally responding to you KG: You're right, it in theory sounds good however it would probably take a while to achieve even a third of what I've suggested, and even longer to gather the necessary resources that we are lacking in, but if we started now, within 6 months we could probably have the project completed, right in time for Christmas xD -DC (P.S. Just because school has almost ended doesn't mean i will start playing a lot, I mainly stopped playing the server for several reasons, like how I have found a lack of things to do on the server that are new and interesting and keep me pulled until something new takes its place, like minigames, etc) |
