A few minutes ago(as of this message)I had to face an onslaught of...mobs.It was skeletons with an iron helmet(with protection 1 I believe) and an enchanted bow(idk about the bow's enchantments) riding skeleton horses.The weather was stormy.I *THINK* whenever a lightning struck near my house,it will spawn a bunch of Skeleton jockeys(and those ride on skeleton horses,not spiders.) Im still wondering why that happened..it was hella hard to kill them.Me,LilOdir and LilMateo was trying to fend off against them.(LilMateo died multiple times but luckily lost no items). Is this a server glitch or lightning will cause OP skeletons that will ride on skeleton horses or did a player spawned them in(Pretty sure no.)? |

Nope, that's not a glitch, that's a 1.9 update. When a lightning hits a group of skeletons, there's a low chance that they become horse riders. |

Im pretty darn sure there wasnt any skeletons prior the lightning strikes.I will read up more about the skeletons.Dont think it is supposed to ride on skeleton horses.Maybe im thinking wrong.Thanks for informing me anyways.E:Just read up.Apparently thats true.I was thinking that skeleton horses werent supposed to be in the "survival"game and could only be spawned via commands.Thanks agains anyways :D |

It's a horse that gets smited, not a group of skeletons.. |

Either way it still causes the mobs :3 and Im also pretty sure there wasnt any free roaming horses near my house.If there were the number wont be like 15. |
