I've been staying out of arguments recently, but I have seen many other arguments that have been handled poorly in my opinion. Here is (my view) of what is happening and what should happen to make it better in the future.1. Reporting Problem: Players have been screaming in chat about arguments and rule breaks that could easily be solved if someone decided to be mature about it. Solution: Do not report someone without evidence or multiple witnesses with matching accounts of what happened. In my eyes, reports without evidence or witnesses should not be looked into, as it will only result in more arguing. If a staff member was present and witnessed what happened, there shouldn't need to be evidence as the staff member (who ultimately decides the punishment) saw it and has a job to punish rule breakers. 2. Staff Actions Problem:Staff members who are online do not seem to be helping. I have seen disputes in chat between players and at least 3 staff members online, none of which took any action to solve the problem, as they are supposed to do. Solution:If a staff member sees a dispute in chat, they should step in to take care of it. If two players are arguing, the staff member should find out what happened and punish who they deem in the wrong. I understand part of this is players not asking staff for help. Players should ask staff for help when needed, but it should not be in the form of... "ADMIN ADMIN [insert username here] IS [insert crime] BAN THEM RIGHT NOW ADMIN PAY ATTENTION TO ME -------->LOOK THERES A PLAYER BREAKING A RULE BAN THEM BAN THEM" ..and so forth. I only bring this up because I see this happen way too often. As a staff member, your job is to solve problems and make them better, not worse. I get that you may be helping someone else, but you could at least tell the player(s) that you will help them once you are done helping the other person. Change needs to happen. It's not easy, but nothing will get better. |

In order for change, we'd love evidence of staff neglect. Your whole point is on evidence, so why didn't you include some to prove your point. People can do /helpop <msg> to notify staff members, and from what I've seen, staff doesn't neglect people who need help. Sometimes it's hard to make out people in the chat when 40 people are online but it's helpful if they use /helpop. |

I 100% agree with Sparqy.With 40 players online all talking in chat, it is very easy to miss a few messages. Often times I look at my chat and mysteriously I have a player already mid-conversation with me and I dont even know the conversation subject as I missed their first message. Things like HelpOp make your messages stand out from regular chat, a staff member will almost 100% notice it unless AFK. If someone has ever asked me for help I have always, in some way, satisfied their wants. Whether I get onto my computer from my phone because someone needs a chest removing, for example. Or if I get another staff member to do it becaise my computer is not available. If I am busy actually playing minecraft and someone needs me I'll say "give me one minute" and I'll finish up what I'm doing and head over to them. I have always fulfilled my staffing duties to my best ability, That's why I have the permissions that i have, and the role of administrator. |

I've been not trying to say anything about your behavior on the forums Stojan, but you need to stop the constant rudeness towards players for having opinions, or by making topics you don't find interesting. For example, your behavior towards Echo. You told her to kill her self for making a topic about how she spilled her milk because she was bored, there was no need for that. There are much more topics that show how much of a dick you are too. Stop spamming a Minecraft forum with shit that doesn't need to be said damn. |

Wowman, I've said it already, I don't care about being staff anymore. And I'm sorry if you disagree with me, but I want what's best for the server, and if I see something that should be fixed or improved, then I'll do something about it. And don't forget, the only reason you hate me is because of a petty misunderstanding when I thought you were seriously insulting a player, which I apologized for after you explained what was happening. I would say you should seek psychiatric help for your inability to move on and be respectful, because at this point it's obviously more than a character flaw. |

Hey Vulturboy.10 days ago today you made a staff application, which would imply you want a staff position, (: 2016/06/18 ). You obviously are desperate for the position, by constantly calling people out, the moderator application and this dumb ass post, so don't tell me you "don't care about being staff anymore" when we both know that's false. Nothing needs fixing or improving- The staff system is at the best it's ever been, Blueroon is gone, ArmzNGunz is gone, all the bad staff are gone, the main troublemaking players are gone. Also /helpop is very useful. I guess it comes up on staff screen in the same way as MSG? stands out from reg chat? It normally gets pretty quick response if the online staff are paying attention, But you cannot expect a staff member to be checking chat all the time they could be tabbed out. Learn ssome patience. |
