On any survival server, the Elytra is extremely difficult to obtain because you have to travel so far to get them, which discourages players from even trying for one. Even for a smaller server like this one, it is a problem. The enderdragon is a fair difficulty to kill, not too hard but not grind easy. Also, making multiple nether crystals can make you take a trip or two into the nether to get the things- no ghast farms!Pros -Players have a chance to get an elytra without travelling endlessly trying to find a ship that's probably been looted. -It gives players a mobility option that isn't there before. -It's not too easy to obtain, and lots of people will want one, making competition of sorts. -Easy to implement (see Xisuma's guide, just a plugin I believe). Cons -Makes people with elytra already slightly frustrated that there is now a method making them not special, or having spent lots of diamonds, emeralds, or in game currency to get it feel robbed. -The enderdragon may make a mess of the end. Are there any farms close by or are they far out? I talked with chat about this a few weeks ago and they seemed to support it, while thinking it was unrealistic. What do you guys think? +1 or -1 |

+1 because players got multiple elytras and players went to get all the elytras before anyone else |

-1 this doesn't Happen in vanilla minecraft so I don't see why it should happen on the server. |

Well considering it's pretty easy to make the ender dragon and with a couple friends you can easily take him down in a couple minutes... |

That is true, but it only drops one, meaning you'd have to kill it many times. Plus, the setup required isn't the easiest. For endgame it's like cake to get the crystals, but for midgame it requires a few trips to the Nether. Plus, there's always the chance of getting voided... |

-1 ruins the survival aspect of the server. people also sell elytra often so buy them. They are usually expensive but vote or make a shop to make good money. Making shops has definitely helped me ingame |
