Hey guys,Lately I have noticed a lack of staff on during certain periods of time and having to be notified by stuff like Snapchat to come on so I have 3 ideas for the server, which all intertwine. Idea #1: Logblock You have probably heard this one before so I will keep it small. The plugin logs every block placed/deleted and shows when a bedrock block is placed down in a place Idea #2: Skript Link: http://njol.ch/projects/skript/ This plugin is a more obscure plugin within the Minecraft Community but can greatly benefit the server as it allows staff/trusted members to create plugins for the server, such as a command which makes a log for staff and who needs them (for example, /modreq <request>) which tells mods when they get online that Player X needs Y and Player K needs M. This could also be used to create an automatic system for making people citizens with a small quiz through a command. Idea #3: 'Trusted Members' This idea is from an old server I used to help out with and I think it could be useful here. The basic idea behind this rank is that they are given access to plugins such as Logblock to deal with grief while mods are offline (They do not have access to ban people but can use Skript, if added, to alert staff). Thank you for making suggestions. For number one and 3, we already have the plugin CoreProtect which is a rollback plugin. These commands could easily be abused by a 'Trusted Member' because when it is rolled back, new blocks are created which could lead to cheating.For the Skript plugin, I do not think it is in luigi's trust to allow staff members to create these 'plugins' because many things can happen. I would like to do more research on the plugin before I add input on this. |

Thanks for the reply. Number 1 was suggested because Logblock has easier permissions preventing people without the permission to roll back from rolling back.Skript could be abused by staff, yeah, but for the server to be able to create its own systems such as the for-mentioned Automatic Citizenship System. Luigi would obviously be able to pick and check any additions to the server before they are added by staff. Skripts have to be added to the server files but do not need any sort of server reboot to work, only an ingame/console command. |

-1 plugins that allow people to rollback grief are very dangerous and should only be given to staff. For 1 and 3 as pumpkin said we already have core protect. For 2 if a member of staff wants to create a plugin luigi can decide if he wants the plugin and add it himself. |
