Why??? http://imgur.com/a/P4fVo These two show chip when he finally decides to say something, just says "Im busy." What could possibly have you busy enough that you cant do your job as a staff member? Had he been helping someone else, or even doing something irl, like a chore for his mom i probably wouldnt have made this post. Keeping in mind that James, whom has some lag and is on BLOODY MINECHAT, is still trying to help me out, but chip just couldnt be bothered. The third image shows why. "Im building something for my gf, its our anniversary tomorrow and im in a rush to get it done." Seriously. Seriously? Ok, your serious? First, idk who your gf is, and frankly I dont care, but shouldnt being a staff member come first? One, I had been overclaimed, which I stated in chat. I had been completely locked out of all my items. Some faction called snowflake had gotten greedy and claimed every chunk around me for quite a ways. And chip couldnt be fucking bothered, because he was bulding something for his online girlfriend. In minecraft. Look, I get that you wanna do something nice for your girlfriend, what guy doesnt, but staffing is basically a volunteer JOB, taking 10 SECONDS TO DO THAT JOB....isnt going to kill you. Someone else that was in a far less convenient position than you to do that job, and was able to do it far less efficiently, all because you wouldnt get your head out of your ass, is really crappy if you ask me, Chip. I could go on about this for quite good bit longer, and I have half a mind that tells me to, but there really wouldnt be any point, and I suppose you get the picture, and in hindsight this probably isnt that huge a deal. But it IS really bloody annoying ya know?

Listen, Chip I don't know how serious you think your relationship is, but I honestly find it a little sad that you look to minecraft for your girlfriends. I mean you're having a fucking anniversary on minecraft with your minecraft GF. Second of all, whenever you do come online I don't see you do any "normal staffing" (staying online waiting for issues, dealing with locked chests, dealing with grief), but rather I find you come online usually to give/take perms, or defend your gf (Yelling at a player for "hitting on my GF"). The point I'm trying to make here Is that I do not like that you put your GF infront of Loki here, and frankly, you've been pissing off a lot more people off than loki. Loki, I'm sorry you had to deal with this, and I would've helped you if I was online. Edit: Case in point, you-know-who was once my "wife", and before that was Ck's "wife". Neither Ck or I got as insanely serious as you did, and its having adverse effects. Edit2: And if you really feel like you need to be online but not be a staff then use /v.

Seems like all ive seen lately is drama between chip and one of his girlfriends. Have I dated people online? Yes. Have one or two been from this server? I admit it, yes. Have I dragged those relationships, them, and our business from the forums to the game to fucking china? Absolutely not. I was amicable on one such post, making suggestions for chip and his ex-significant other, and both of them agreed, and neither of them did anything about it. Just continued making the rest of us suffer for it. Something needs to change.

But usually, you're overly emotional about whatever drama is happening in your real life. If things are that stressful, just don't come online. Basically - Don't take your emotions out on other players If you don't want to do staff duties, either step down or go where people wont find you (single player or /v) Chill out with jumping into serious relationships all the time. I figured chip would explode, and most people would support him, with only a few other annoyed players agreeing with me. But seeing that so far, people have only agreed with my annoyance at how chip has been staffing only reaffirms my thoughts. I haven't even been that active, so I imagine others are more annoyed than I am. Something MUST change. Either chip needs to do it, or Luigi should have a talk with him.

Your complaint isn't that I have a girlfriend more important than you, so don't make it into one. I already have a post in general stating that I'm taking a break from this whole staffing thing - I'm suffering the loss of a great friend. No-where have I stated that I have come back, I just want to play some minecraft by myself and maybe help here and there. It isn't my job to help you, or anyone. I do this voluntarily, and I have the right to deny help to players - but I rarely ever do that. In fact, even in these last days I have helped players like belgnbor, SheepShop, michael99999999999999....5, someone called izzie, and many more. Even luigi has witnessed me help players in the very short amount of time that we are both online at the same time. I'd appreciate it if you (you and some of the replies on this post) didn't make it out like I've completely neglected my role as administrator for the last few weeks, because I certainly haven't. Maybe I should bring back my post showing who I help and how often... TL;DR Don't bring my personal life into this and make it out like I didn't give a fuck about helping you. I haven't been helping as much as usual for a total of 2 days (of started the build 2 days ago) Sorry if you didn't realise I was on a break and that I wasn't reading chat.

An example, when I am on webbcraft and Shindori is on you can say that we are msging, 95% of times we are. If I am talking to Shindori and my girlfriend messages me, even though girlfriend is in real life and Shindori in minecraft, I will talk to Shindori, or complete that message THEN my girlfriend, she can wait a second. Now this wasn't even close to this, it was just stopping 10 seconds from your build to help loki, you have the rest of the whole day to build something. Come on. Again I am not 'attacking' you here chip, I am just equal with everyone, if someone is in the wrong, I point that out. Cheerio

I know of admins which have dismissed players from help because they simply cant be arsed to put in the effort and want to just relax. I've also witnessed mods do it (*hint one or two of them have even commented here*) whilst i've been looking through console. pretty hypocritical if you ask me. i asked luigi about it and he said i was fine with what i did:

I don’t want to get into a heated argument about this, but I have had many points while i’ve been on when i couldn’t properly function and do my staff duties, and for clarification i will not go into detail as to why. So please, don’t ask. In conclusion, You do raise a valid point Loki, but occasionally we do need a bit of time to ourselves. I know the argument of staff not being there as our job but remember this is more volunteer work than an actual job. Nic, ck, and Ace are the newest mods. They haven't gotten to the stage yet where they have wanted / needed a break from jumping to every player's command. Go ahead and read my moderator and watch my admin applications - you can clearly see my passion for helping players and enjoying the sense of happiness when I roll back a grief or something. But now it's been a LONG time since then, and my fire inside needs a break. It's still there, but his community is VERY demanding and energy-taking. Tones does it, Armz does it, Tom does it, Ellie does it, Eddie used to do it... and when I say "it" I mean take short breaks from staffing, to refuel their passion for helping players. Luigi allows us to do what I have done, because he knows what it's like for us to staff here, and he wants us to take breaks as and when we want them - so that being here doesn't become a burden to us.

And even then it isn't that simple, the defence also has to be proven to be fully aware of their own capabilities tied with the other person.

Just because i am a staff member it doesn't mean i am contracted to lick every player's ass. I'll play the game if i want. I payed for it. I support the server and manage it in donations and also in ways through deep administration in console. 2 days of me deciding i want to actually play the game does not mean i'm neglecting my role. Reasonable people will understand that i am a a human too, and want to play the game just as much as you.

I have been at school all day and havent been able to check, otherwise I wouldve responded long before now. Chip, In no way was this supposed to be an attack on you, or your relationships. I apologize if it seemed that I was trying to say that my small matter shouldve been vastly more important, or that I was trying to further drag your personal life into this, that was not my intent. Rather the opposite. The intent was to show how I felt rather ignored. The comment you made about being on break in chat never appeared on my chatbox, meaning I clearly joined after the fact and never saw it. I felt the staffing duties had been slightly brushed off for a personal matter, especially when the staffing matter wouldve taken mere seconds, and I felt slighted as a result. It was also to question why you always seemed to make business with your relationships public, such as the business with emily. But it was not a targetted post, I wouldve made this post against another staff member who had done the same, and I didnt mean to "take digs at you." In return I also accept your apology of not seeing I needed help, for as I said It was really a matter of a few seconds. However I do agree that if you intend to be active on the server without engaging in staffing duties, you should use /v, as that way if you wish to talk to anyone you can simply message them, and keep to yourself otherwise. Even saying nothing in the situation yesterday mightve been better for I wouldve assumed you were just afk. As for taking breaks, I completely agree with Tones on this matter. As for the Summer issue, I had no intention of bringing her into this. Indeed, I didnt actually know her and chip were dating. I would ask that she be left out of any further comments, lest it be her own, for chip and her's privacy. As I said, that was not my intent. Chip the only last issue I have is if you are going to be on the server and NOT performing staffing duties, or in other words, ignoring chat and by extension players, as I was yesterday, there should be another online staff member that is active and readily available to help effectively, before going about your business. It should only take a short time. This should go for ALL staff members on a break like this one, not just chip. Im not a staff member and probably never will be due to incidents like this one, and im CERTAINLY not luigi, and so I have no real say-so, but can we all agree on this? If so, I think we can close this topic following chips reply, and would like to do so.
