What's wrong with that, Tooele?Most of the players who have been on since the start are either dead, donators, or staff. So very few players would have this anyway. What perks would it get, Fatman? |

@Tooele That's the point though. To reward players who spend more than the default few days on any given server. Reward the players who stay loyal through thick and thin. @Beetle Firstly, WADDUP MANG! Been a minute :) As far as commands go I wouldn't even be opposed to nothing additional honestly. Just having something as simple as the prefix would be enough to show our loyalty. Leaving it with little to no additional commands would also help keep people like Tooele up there happy. If we really insisted on making it have additional commands we could just give out some simple ones like additional sethomes or /ignore. |

A different rank for 2+ years, 3+ years etc with maybe a few more set homes etc. BUT NOT TO BE GAINED BY A VOTE TOKEN. You must of been on for so long. Getting member through vote token really ticks me off, as you can become a member within a few days of being on the server which sux. |

I think 3 years sounds good :) +1 Like belg said, maybe more set-homes but it should be unattainable via vote tokens because then its unfair to those who have genuinely been around for awhile and deserve the rank, because new players can get the rank easily by vote tokens. Really good idea to me! :) |

3 yrs is too shortWhat if for Elder you got the prefix aswell as getting to choose from a list of permissions? You could only choose 3. So like Fly Limited access to cmd blocks Gmc /forestgen And more |

Tbh there are very few players who still come on who have been on the server for over 3 years. And there is like only Luigi and Armz who have been on for over 5 years. |

@Thomas that's the point of it. Reward the players who do still come around. I originally put 5 years since I'm almost to five years myself. I'd be good with three too. Just more ranks not aimed towards money and donations would be good imo. |

I think we should do 3 years plus you should be a trusted and liked member of the community.They should get custom-colored prefixes, unlimited homes, set warps, and maybe even fly. |

Maybe not [Member+], but not [Veteran] as the 2nd one either in my opinion.Maybe: 1 year = [Member] 3 years = [Elder] 5 years = [Veteran]? So, you're a member of the server (1 year mark), then you're an Elder of the server (3 year mark), and finally you're a Veteran of the server (5+ years). I like Ck's idea of permissions alongside SpaceSheep's. Maybe at 3 years you get, say, 3 permissions of choice, and then at 5, you get like 5-7? I don't know but I like the idea of chosen permissions for each rank. Just a suggestion, I still +1 this idea, though! |

I agree with something like this, but think it should be playtime, not when you first logged on the server. That way new(ish) people who are super dedicated to the server can still earn it, and the old people have been around for so long they'll already have the time needed to earn it. Otherwise, we might as well start adding any old ranks, like retired staff, ex-banned, and start to get silly. This idea, is basically a tag, rather than an actual rank. What I'm suggesting is a somewhat attainable rank, that still rewards those who've been around for a while. |

Damn Lazark, that's actually a really good idea for handing out that rank if it's implemented. Give it based on in-game time, not on the first join date. Damn... My only criticism is with moving it to suffix, or prefix and suffix; it'd just look a bit silly.For example, if suffixes were implemented with prefixes alongside, my name would look like this: **Aura <[Donator]+ ~ImTyeDye [Elder]> hey y'all And it just looks a bit confusing, and you cant really judge what the new rank is. Maybe if we add small symbols to each prefix to signify the time on the server..? I don't know, but there's a lot of ideas able to be put onto this one suggestion. |

Accepted!Good news everyone, Veteran rank is now a thing! Veteran rank is earned after 3 years of play time. To earn this rank, you must be a near perfect player, no bans in the past ~year. Veteran will be a mostly cosmetic rank however it WILL be getting one command never before given to players, not even donators. /speed!*** The rank will NOT be purchasable, and donators can have the rank as a subrank for the speed command after 3 years of playtime, just like anyone else. /speed and the veteran rank will NOT be purchasable and to get them you MUST earn it via 3 years of peaceable, active playtime. ***Any abuse of /speed in pvp or otherwise will result in an immediate demotion. This command is given based on trust, and will be removed if said trust is lost. Keep the suggestions coming guys! |

EDITApparently there are some issues with the /speed for walkspeed, and it wants to do flyspeed (which is not what we want) And I cant seem to fix it. So instead, Veteran will be getting /ptime. |

pretty much you can set the time for only you, so if its night and you want day you can set it to be day for only you.i think |

^correct. When you type /ptime it tells you what your time is compared to what it actually is on the server. So, if its night time on the server, and you type /ptime day, itll make it look like day for you and you only. To go back to the servers time, type /ptime reset. |

Awesome thanks Loki! I have a question though. I'm currently [builder] rank but I have a few extra commands from over the years. Mainly I have more sethomes than basic builders normally do. I was curious if these commands would carry over from my builder rank to my veteran since mine were added by Luigi and chip and aren't part of normal builder. |

Yes but builder is a higher rank than veteran anyway, and the commands you get from builder would not carry over if you switched to veteran. To keep your builder commands you can just have veteran added as a sub rank. |
