Build transfers to the new map

luigiofthebakery Moderator	Date sent: 2017/09/28 11:09:47 Since no one reads the news articles I put up on the home page, I'm making this thread instead so you can request a build transfer from the old map. To quote myself: "I will soon be transferring builds from the old map, including the server shop, luigi's mansion, and the cathedral, as well as other builds requested to be transferred. If you would like to request a build transfer, leave a comment on this article with the coordinates of where it is in the old map, and where you would like it to go in the new map. I stress that you must have a chosen a location in the new map for where you want it to be placed, because I don't have time to search around the map for a suitable location to put it. Just saying "I want you to to transfer my build located at (x,y,z) in the old map" is NOT a valid request. If you have any extra information that will assist me in transferring the build, please mention it. You can find guidelines of what can be transferred in one of the old new map news articles. Basically, transfers are meant to preserve the building itself, the time took to make it, and its aesthetic and historical significance, not the items it is made out of. Transfers are not so you can gain items or an economic advantage in the game."

I did forward them to CK and chip said he looked at my house as well. Just trying to find a way to retrieve them off the old drive.

I recomend you reading it so you can more easily understand what the building meant for me. Also I must apologize but i dont have coordinates and i never thought about needing them, I was simply using warps like /warp flameharbormain (which was oficial warp for mine fort). I wish I could get it but im not able to anymore :( Also if you would think about transfering it then it should be anywhere near to sea with at least one mountain near it but its not necessary. Pheo	Date sent: 2017/10/02 22:33:27 Hey sorry I don't have co-ords Anj doesn't have a forum account so I shall post on her behalf, Anj_'s castle. Id like it moved on the hill at x2919 y133 z-3104. Its an unfinished project that I think will be a good addition to the server once its finished. Its had a lot of time but into it and I think it would be good to have finished. Id also like to transfer over the main tree at /warp happytree, its the tree the warp will take you to. It was built by the whole happytree village and would like it moving on top of anj's castle on the castle courtyard. This is mainly for sentimental reasons if that's ok as it was one of the first times we all played together. Thanks in advance if the builds meet the requirements!

It is roughly a 40x40 manor home and is located right next to Armz's mansion. If you can position it so the porch looks out the cliff at that location facing the river and the birch forest from the top of the hills there. I'm going to try and make it my shop in the new world. There is no historical significance other than it was linked to the /warp hxp farm. Thank you.

CaptainSpaceSheep	Date sent: 2017/10/05 10:21:42 I don’t think you understand guys, luigi needs the coordinates to transfer the builds. Warps won’t work. Theoretically he could go to the warp, then get the coords but i dont see the point in luigi doing that for everyone of your builds which will probably not even be transferred because you don’t understand the point of it. FrostCity won’t be transferred. It has no signifigant history and is only so the people in frostbite dont have to make houses again. Like luigi said, the purpose of tranferring builds is not to gove you a headstart or a home, its to restore the builds that has significant meaning to the server and it’s players. Sorry, but most of these builds dont match that criteria.
Pheo	Date sent: 2017/10/05 11:33:09 @Jordan I wasn't aware we had to have co-ords until the old world was closed otherwise I would have added them. and the builds I want transferred are relatively small, one was an unfinished project I was helping anj with, and the other a tree that we made that a load of us built a village around, and that's just for sentimental value. Neither give us an advantage in the game.

Either to get their cord of their old base to transfer or just to play on it just for one more time. depending how much people care about their old builds you can get a decent amount of cash that is EULA friendly . This is also assuming that the people on the server doesn't get angry at you for doing that

And would also like if possible to have my home\castle thing saved. Cant tell you the cords because, well. Cant go there ._. I had it saved under /home home. Last build would probably be my shop "ToxShop" @ /warp tox (if the warp wasn't removed). That's all I knew its location by. Thanks.

I remember we tried that one time about 3 or 4 maps ago and there was an insane amount of glitches. People could give themself xp in the old world with gmc and use it in the new one, Inventories had to be seperate between both maps which eventually ended up in the feature breaking so people had their old stuff in the new world. I remember once it even went to the point where people had gmc in the new world. I don’t think it’s worth the risk. The pros don’t outweigh the cons.

The chests do contain op items, but they can be destroyed. as well as the ovens. I have yet to finish the interior, which I want to do next. I would like the palace in whole to be transferred, including the surrounding fence to 2403 / 70 / 2974

It's made of quartz and blue glass (if you jump down and fly around, it should be within 50-100 blocks?) and just that is all I'd like if you're still transferring! In the new map I think a good spot for it would be at (X=-507, Y=70, and Z=-2522) with the entrance facing north.

The city is 591 N-S by 656 E-W blocks across, and is enclosed by walls and wall foundations. There is a harbor on the eastern side and a lighthouse on a hand-built island. I enclosed a picture that shows how the city should look when placed in the new location. https://imgur.com/a/7714f Old location of north gate: 8366 72 -3933 New location of north gate: -6793 72 5235 If you can somehow select the whole area at once, I can provide corner coordinates. Considerations: The city has many buildings, some of which are very tall. There are chests all over the city, many of which contain items. Some problem spots: the library (domed building with spires in north of city), which has chestshops inside it; and the citadel (round wall on hill in southeast of city), which has farms and item storage below the floor. Seriously, there are tons of chests… the easy thing is probably to replace chests in worldedit. BUT… The library has a vault below the floor for book storage. I would like to import the player books, as they are historical. There are maps and other things in this vault that should not be transferred. Please transfer the ground within the walls too, and the bottom of the lighthouse island and harbor… I terraformed it for a very long time. There is a set of mapart builds at 13076 63 -5840. These are part of my city décor. Each of these should fit on a single map. Contact me for where these should go. My ziggurat is misplaced. I marked out the new location with wool. Just shift it over within the city walls. Thank you so much! If this transfer cannot take place, please let me know so I can modify my request.

Try requesting a build transfer as soon as possible next time.

It says no where that the link button must be used. Thank you for the suggestion though! 2. As for not having the coords, you don't think I'm aware of that? But since you know nothing about the details of this transfer and who is involved, I suppose I'll take precious time out of my busy day to enlighten you. 2.(a) All warps from the old map were deleted, but after talking to Loku and CCShad, the logs from the old map were found/retrieved and the warp name (which contains the coords *gasp) was used in this thread in place of the coords, which no one had. 3. Someone still has the back up of the old map which is why I even bothered to fill out my request, and was told it was still possible to get the transfer completed and to fill out a request on the forum to get it started. And truth be told, I did request a build transfer as soon as I could over a year ago! Would you believe that?! Crazy right? Well I suppose you would have seen that if you bothered to look at the preceding requests, which you clearly didn't do. Shame. So here's a few pointers for you Presinus, next time don't be so nosy rosy and butt in when you know nothing about what I've done since Ive been on Webbcraft or who've I talked to in order to make this request :D Cheers! -Toxic_Rayz

Asking somebody to not be "so nosy rosy and butt in" (nosy rosy? really?) on a public forum is like yelling at somebody for walking on a public sidewalk, it's ridiculous. Instead of getting offended at somebody for commenting on a public forum and going on the discord server to play the righteous card because Presinus was "butting in" on your "private" conversation, just tell them, politely, that you have sorted out the issues with staff members, and that the pointers are appreciated, because they damn well are. Also, really do use the link button. It's genuinely easier for you to click that button then to copy and paste the URL. Even if by a small degree.

By this point, I'm starting to wonder how many anger-inducing mental imparements you may suffer. (4?): I was trying to offer friendly advice on a public forum thread. There is nothing nosy about reading a comment on a public thread. Also if your order was sorted out already, then why did you post on this thread anyway?
