The ban appeals are for those who feel they've been unfairly banned. Consider adding an apology section where those who feel they've been fairly banned can apologize for their actions and request a second chance. |

A "I lost this command and I really want it back" section would be nice too :oAlso, +1 but I don't think it merits a whole new section. Maybe if possible, split it into a subcategory like Discord does with their chats now. Make the category called "Appeals" and two subcategories indented underneath it titled "Bans" and "Apologies." |

I'm not sure if you got that backwards, but I find it would make more sense if the section was "Bans and Punishments" and the subsections were "Appeals" and "Apologies."Good idea with the subcatagory thing nevertheless. The "I lost this command and I really want it back" thing would fit just fine with it. |

Even if players feel like their initial ban was fair, if that ban has been for way too long or they feel like they deserve a second chance because they'll behave, then the ban becomes unfair because it prevents them from legitimately playing on the server.Apoligising for previous actions and owning up for mistakes is part of proving to the server community that it won't happen again, essentially showing that the ban as it currently stands is unfair (not that it was always unfair) and that the player deserves an unban. |

While apologizing is a good extra, they shouldn't have to apologize if their ban was unfair.Scene: ckvoss steals 3 stacks of cobblestone from Zedcall. ACeTheGreat98 witnesses it and tempbans ckvoss for 12 years. ckvoss, though banned for breaking a rule, shouldn't have to apologize to get an early unban, as a 12 year tempban would be ridiculous considering all he did was steal 3 stacks of cobblestone. |

That's true. However people have different perspectives on what is 'unfair'. From the banned player's perspective, a ban may be unfair, but from the server's perspective it might be fair. The ban appeals category categorises topics which aim to convince the staff and community that a ban as it currently stands is unfair. Even if the banned player thinks their ban is fair, once they submit an appeal apologising and explaining this, it becomes an argument to convince the server that they are unfairly banned, regardless of what category it's in, and even if that's not what they intended it to be. |
