This might seem like a dumb post to you guys but right now I've noticed the server isn't doing so well with the issues regarding the new update. Whilst this may not be in full control of the admins ect. I still find it is effecting my decision as to if I should donate at the moment. I've not been on the server long but I really enjoy it and the people who play regular that I interact with are amazing. But even in my short period of playing this server I have noticed the player count slowly decreasing. I know the server has been going for a while so that's why I'm asking this question. Does the community, not just the admins, see the server staying for some time? Bit of a long post but if I'm going to donate I'd like to know the people I've come to like on this server aren't just gonna up and leave anytime soon or that the server is gonan go anywhere. (I've donated to mc servers before and they've gone down like a month later, happened a lot and don't wanna get stung again yknow) |

This server is probably not going to go down for a long, long time. It's pretty stable on its own, and it has plenty of veterans still playing. But you're right that people might leave.Leave it until at least a little after 1.14.1 comes out. The server is basically unplayable rn because of the update, so it's worth waiting to see who stays on. |

It depends on how active you think you’ll be. Take how many years you think you’ll be online and active on the server, and divide that number by three. From what I’ve seen, most players are only active for two or three months, if they ever rejoin, and the few that make it past that quit at one year, just as I did. You could be different and dedicated though, it’s just up to you if you think you’re active enough to outweigh the cost of the rank. |

The server doesnt need donations. The money stored is plenty to last longer than minecraft's popularity |
