Your in-game name: Lucifear

How old you are: 25

Your gender: Male

Have you been banned on any other servers? I did not.

Why do you think you should be a moderator? As a person who did run more than 5 servers in a past and be a part of a team in many, many servers, I know what's necessarily needed; Being professional in the server, putting your casual playing behaviour aside and act accordingly with your title and fulfil your duty. Acknowledging and applying these things is what's necessary and I do have these attributes.

How long can you be active on the server every day? More than 4-5 hours up to 7

What country do you live in? Turkey, close to UK timezone

How long have you been on the server? More than a week

Additional information: I've been playing Minecraft since the late Alpha stages, I've been learning core plugins and coding since then, after getting an education in software development, I'm able to develop things in many languages such as Java and C#, I've learned so many plugins in a hard way where there were not too many servers available in Minecraft. I do know almost all of the core plugins and the detailed usage of them and if I don't have enough knowledge about a certain plugin, I can easily learn it since it's my field.

I am a team player, I can co-op with every member, as a Moderator, you people will need someone who can easily blend in, be cooperative, easy to communicate and mature. I hope you'd accept my application, I'd love to be helpful in this beautiful server.

I can give references in Discord (Lucifear#4887) of my old teammates where we made a server with our custom made plugins, 3D texture packs, map and skripts, they still running their new server but since their theme is not for me, I can not contribute them.

Additional information 2: I'm also an official graphic and logo designer. Even tho you don't accept my application, I'd like to design a logo or anything contains a graphic design, I'd like to help in any means necessary.

I actually dont find it necessary since it's a job and less time means less attachment and that gives you a "+" for professionalism and equality.

I wouldn’t consider staffing a job. You’re volunteering to help the community you know and love stay a safe, and respectable place. Getting to know the players, know a little about the server and be known around the community as a whole is a very important quality as staff that you need to have. That isn’t the only reason staff are picked though. Professionalism and knowledge is great to have, but staff will train you how to run the commands, what the rules are, etc. You look at a player like Ninon, who’s been here for 6 years. Should he be staff cause he knows the community? Probably not, he doesn’t possess the qualities a great staff member should have, but if he improved a ton I’d see him as a great candidate. Age on the server isn’t that big of a deal, but you should know the people before you start enforcing rules on them.

I don't have to know anyone to apply any rules. Don't get me wrong but in my humble opinion, people that are thinking like that shouldn't be a staff member, not because they're evil or anything, just because of the ideology. Equality is where the relations and connections don't matter at all, I said job because it must be taken seriously and if I have to be realistic age matters for the sake of stability, objectivity, responsibility and maturity. I stayed long enough to know the active players and I was around when the new ones such as me arrived, one doesn't need to be stay here for months to know the community if they're not slow, as an active player, I get the opportunity to know many and as a human not everybody's gonna like you or have the same ideals with you or support you but we have to keep it professional, people will come and leave, knowing the entire community is utterly unnecessary when it comes to moderate, observe and apply the rules. It's all about whether you wanna contribute or taking an advantage of things, just to see a Mod title next to your name... I really enjoyed and like it here, I wanna use the skills I developed over time to help the community.

Yes other staff members will educate me about this specific server and their commands and teach me around the server but that's not something to be around here for months or years to learn, from the community. So I hope you don't feel offended or anything, I really appreciate your feedback, it's been really helpful and fun, thanks for being kind to answer my comment. Have a lovely day!

Great app btw.
I am a good example of someone who was promoted quickly. I joined in March 2018, applied after 3 months, and promoted a few weeks after.

From what I see, you are already getting along with most players and you speak your mind very well. Also, your past experience could be very helpful.

Time helps you bond with the community, to appreciate the people and to be appreciated by the others. We like to connect with the people more than only being a figure of authority (even if we have to be a form of authority).
We've also had some negative experience with new players. The latest experience could've been avoided if we waited a few weeks.

Keep doing what you do right now. From what I see, you don't need to do any sort of intellectual gymnastics to possibly be part of the team.

I understand your concern, in the past, I had the same experience with my team members, actually it happened quite a lot since I was not a grown up man and I was naive. But after that I've learn that you need time to see the people. Since I know that, I can't expect you to get me in so fast, so yes, I do know that but I hope you know the fact that I was talking about an ideology about knowing people is not something that should affect your decision-making process. Sure I love to get to know people and community overall but for you, knowing me is what it's gonna take me in or not. So... In the end, I'm on the same page with you! I'll take your advice Max, thank you!

I really appreciate your comment, a beautiful, kind and constructive criticism is what I really like about it. Thanks Max!
