New IDEAS! New Rank, Permissions Plugin Ideas!

Firstly,

If these have already been suggested, please don't hate, as this may be a coincidence. Anyway, I'd like to say a few words, BLEAK! TWITTER! PINHEAD! SHERBET! Ok, Thanks!


Ok, Heres Some Stuff That Has Been Bugging Me For, Like A Long Time:


You know how there is there is the No Swearing rule, I am surprised no-one came up with a solution. I found a couple plugins, This one's the best:http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/censorit/

Next is a few simple stuff that has been making the server SPANK MY PSYCHIC BOOTAY:


1. Delete elemental powers from all ranks Elemental? commands like: /thor /day /nighte.t.c and Administrative Commands (/kick /broadcast e.t.c

2. Builder an earnt rank that requires application, The title of Builder is like placing a moderator spot open for purchase, It's a damn title for people who CAN ACTUALLY build! BUT! This server puts Builder as a rank where people can USE CREATIVE FOR ONLY 16 BUCKS! If this change is made Builder will require 2 things: Trusted Rank (3) And Application

3. A 'Trusted' Rank, Meaning that when your application has been accepted, you can become a Trusted member. Meaning, you can branch off to Mod, Admin, etc an Application for each rank up. a Trusted can be made when a person has been on for 6 months, and an on time to see the data. http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/playtime-tracker/ Yep, THIS has been bugging me ALOT.

4. A PvP kit will be great, cuz, when you lose in PvP most citizens have supernatural items that might've been spawned in. I remember in old Mush no-one gave away diamonds I sorta miss that vibe now.

5. The server's Security, yep YOU GUYS made me go out and edit this. This server has vary bad security for a few reasons:
-Most Plugins go to 1 Rank
-Less Plugins are used ON THE SERVER
-OCD Rule Board
The OCD rule board is a neat rule board that only contains about 10-19 rules.
Many more rules can be placed if we extended it. And, sad to say it, WE HAVE AN OCD RULEBOARD (way too many caps there Digs!) And as I stated in 1. Delete Thor, Day, Night etc and transfer them to the Trusted Rank (3) so we have more space for plugins to use on the server. Also lessen out some of the commands on V.I.P cuz Really!? Who NEEDS /getpos /feed and /heal (its the same as Heal and may be used too much as stated in the Final paragraph)
/lightning (as Stated in 1.) /sell
- /spawner
- /broadcast
- /compass
- /depth
These commands are used less and takes up way too much space, so its really not that sad to see them go.

6. A Better Staff voting system: This has been making me go bananayz over! when in the Staff Apps all you see is very short and unmeaning answers for Being Staff. Yet people STILL VOTE FOR THEM even though they have been on for a week. I asked a few staff members about this problem and they agree with me (shout out to Roonie, Hazza, And Armz!)

Finally, The 'Survival' Title. This is a major problem on our server and COULD BE for future references. Creative shouldn't be handed out like for 20 bucks, NO! it should be for Builders and Above (Mods, Admins). Reason: All to do with the TRUSTED RANK. Yep, But it will now: Loosen spam in Moderator Comments so you dont promote a stranger (Living evidence is: Saraku and old Bluey) cuz just saying, if these are ignored, We might have a problem to deal with.

Ok I'm going to address this in quick bullet points as it is a fair amount.

- Swearing: We are allowed to swear, however not at excessive amounts or in an abusive way. That plugin will restrict free speech so people will be unhappy about that.

- Point 1: I agree with thor/smite as it is just a horrible command. However the day/night is for convenience and the kick command is for emergencies only as we are trusted with it. Broadcast can easily be abused, but I use it to advertise PlugDJ for the server. I am fairly neutral on that.

- Point 2: Builder is a donation rank given to those who have paid money to the server to help upkeep, it is a privilege. Like all commands with abuse they will be removed from that person.

- Point 3: I'm not sure how to word what I'm thinking here, so all I can say is that I'm pretty sure people trust me and I haven't been playing for anything close to 6 months. I have been on for almost 2 months so far.

- Point 4: If items are cheated/spawned then you can tell a mod that they have been cheating in PvP. They will be punished for cheating in PvP.

- Conclusion: Also I'm a bit confused on how to reply to this one. Our server is still survival even though we do have some builds in creative that should be disconnected with survival all together. Also about the moderators, I do kind of agree that there are some "strangers" applying for mod. I do believe luigi or admins should get to know these people before they are promoted.


I can see you have put a fair amount of effort and research into this, I do agree with parts of it. It has also made me think that there should be another world on the server for builders and donators where they can build in creative for their own kind of designs. Either that or there can be plots made specifically for creative ranks.

I agree on one thing and one thing only. The builder rank. Builder should be ( imo ) applied for and earnt. I think builder shouldn't be paid for. (People wont get builder for just building a little house with a few designs) It has to be AMAZING. Trees must be custom made, landscaping, paths ponds terraforming..ect ect )

Penq you could argue the same thing for donator, and I know some people won't be happy about that. The whole point of having builder and donator ranks is to fund the upkeep of the server. If you start adding more requirements then people won't be paying for them... Luigi won't be happy of that I am sure.

I meant have builder as an applyable rank, and the take the old builder rank and turn it into another rank,

Basically, add a new rank that costs 16£ and make builder appliable

Number 3 would be awesome! But maybe not the playtime tracker. Only people that luigi trusts. On my post, I suggested Trusted which is for trusted citizens (Non-Donors). And Trusted+ for Donator+s, which has more administrative commands like /jail (Not perm) and sort-of helper commands.

I would like the trusted rank, really.. cuz of silly donators abusing their gmc and spawning in stuff to sell we no longer have /pay or sell at shops. I find this unfair and people should be given a trusted rank so we can do this stuff when other people abused it.
